1. City Of God. Really intense.

2. Girl, Interrupted. This is one of the few films that made me go out and buy the book.

3. Waking Life. Lucid dreams - Analysis and random conversions/opinions all presented in a trippy rotoscoped animation. Absolutely great!

4. Leon. Brilliant performances from everyone involved.

5. Akira. Excellent story and animation.
