As well as making her feature film debut  with inside Shadows, Sofia still found time to launch two websites, illustrate two books and calendars of poetry, then turn her hand to costume design - all of this alongside her full time job as an architect with Zaha Hadid Architects and Acme Space. Fluent in 5 languages, Sofia was born to Polish and Austrian parents in Vorarlberg, Austria, where she was stage-acting for 10years, studied architecture at the university of applied arts Vienna and interior design in Paris, to then relocate to London in 2008.

Sofia’s Film Recommendations To See Before You Join The Afterlife:

1. Night On Earth. Those nightly encounters with taxi drivers, strangers and goats that we all experience...

2. Lolita. Ever so honest and inappropriately funny!

3. The Last Unicorn. Wonderful illustrations telling an unexpectedly dark story.

4. Paris je t’iame. Because I do.

5. Nacktschnecken. I constantly got reminded of it whilst doing inside Shadows.

Sofia’s Top 3 Songs To Listen To (Whilst You’re Still In This Life)

1. Take A Walk On The Wild Side by Lou Reed.

2. Baby Don’t Go by The Dum Dum Girls

3. I Could Be A Bear by The Flaming Lips

Sofia’s philosophy for a happy life:

If you can’t see the point of something draw a line instead.
